Meet our Fluffle of Netherland Dwarf rabbits in Florida! We love our sunshine and our kids are covered in freckles (it helps that one is a redhead). These netherland dwarf bunnies are located in Bradenton, Florida near Sarasota and Lakewood Ranch off of 70 out east. Our rabbits grow up on our farm with our three kids (aged 9, 5 and 1) and various animals --including but not limited to a flock of parrots, cat, dog, goats, chickens and maybe a stray duck or two depending on what Tractor Supply has at any given time. Our rabbits are raised around our kids and our other pets and have been handled from a young age. There's not a day that goes by that our animal-loving son doesn't at some point have a random rabbit in his arms while wandering around. We are a closed rabbitry but are available to chat to discuss adopting a netherland dwarf or holland lop bunny at anytime. Netherland Dwarf rabbits are a dwarf breed of rabbit, developed by several men from the Netherlands who worked for years to develop the small breed. Recognized by the American Rabbit Breeders Association in 1969.

Netherland Weight

Netherland Dwarf rabbits weight between 2 and 3 pounds full grown. Some broody does or false dwarves will weigh above 3 pounds. The Netherland Dwarf is the smallest of the domestic rabbit breeds.

Temperament

Netherland Dwarf rabbits tend to get a bad rap in terms of temperament. They are very spunky and sassy, which can sometimes translate to skittish, standoff-ish or wild. But once they trust you they tend to open up more.
