Opening Up Shop
Our background is in breeding parrots. But when our local pet store contact requested for us to become a rabbit breeder locally, we eventually said yes. Since nothing we do is ever small, we responded quickly and haven’t looked back—and Fluffle Farm was born!
Through trial and error, we learned which style set up works best for us and our growing family and herd. After we got the specifics nailed down, we've been hopping along ever since.
In the fall of 2023, it became apparent that we needed to expand. We decided to focus only on rabbits and let go of the flock of parrots we had started with. Who knew so much would come from our little barn that we bought with no specific purpose just a few short years ago.
Growing Our Fluffle of Rabbits
Growing our rabbitry takes research, trial and error and lots of snuggles. Our fluffle (yes a group of rabbits is a fluffle. No seriously, google it) has roots throughout Florida including many many bloodlines bred for show. We are intentional with our bunny babies and take pride in our does, bucks and litters.
While each bunny pairing is bred for a purpose, not all buns will be perfect. But they are perfectly snuggly and loved just the same. Even the tilted ones who Houdini themselves out of newly designed baby cages and injure themselves leaving them permanently well, tilted (I'm looking at you Tilty).
