Bunny Rabbit Art Projects (for Kids!)

Does your kid do 4H? Are you looking for a family pet? Welcome to our Art Project... Project. As a homeschooling family, we do everything together--including taking care of the animals around our hobby farm. This means that our 9 year old and 5 year old (and 1.5 year old when she gets there) help take care of all of our animals. We've discovered that if they feel as if they contributed to the purchase of a pet that they feel more invested and responsible. So to help foster this in other kids and to selfishly obtain adorable drawings and such, we created the Art Project Discount!

How it Works: I simply ask for an age appropriate art project of any kind in exchange for a $25 discount off any adoption of a Holland Lop or Netherland Dwarf bunny rabbit. This can be a drawing, painting, mixed media, poem, short story, needle felting, handprint art, comic book page or whatever you dream up!

Who it's For: Kids. Ultimately this is just to help kids feel more involved with their new bunny. It's very easy to be excited when they are new and cute but then to lose that excitement as soon as they realize that cute ball of fluff is going to poop (a lot) and someone has to clean that up (...them). So this is just a little way for them to feel invested in the choice.

Can I Do More Than One?: The discount is per bunny. If you have 2 kids and want 1 bunny, it is 1 discount (but I'd be happy to have art from them both if they so desire). If you have 4 kids and want 4 bunnies, you can get 4 discounts!
