Sales Policy

Please Read Our Policy Before You Adopt

By reserving and/or purchasing a bunny, you agree to these terms and acknowledge that they can be changed without notice.

Sales Policy

We are SO excited to help you find your new fluffy friend! But first… the paperwork…

Policy 1

We want the best homes (whether pet, breeding and/or show) for our bunnies. We reserve the right to refuse selling our bunnies to anyone, for any reason, and at any point during the transaction. This is for our safety and the safety of our bunnies.

Policy 2

We do our best to determine the gender of your bunny before they leave to go home with you. However, we are human and we do make mistakes so please check before you leave and verify for yourself.

Policy 3

All bunnies are healthy to our knowledge. Please do a health check at pick up. Once they leave, their health is your responsibility. If you and your veterinarian determine that a pre-existing condition exists/existed in your bunny, obtain a letter from your veterinarian and let us know ASAP. We will do our best to work with you.

Policy 4

All sales are final. If you find you can no longer care for your bunny, please let us know. If the bunny is altered we will assist in finding a new home. If the bunny is unaltered we will take the bunny back and potentially purchase unneeded supplies from you–this is at our discretion and based on cage space. No refunds will be given. Thanks for understanding!

Policy 5

A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to hold a bunny. No bunny will be reserved without a deposit. Interest shown in a bunny does not reserve a bunny, only a deposit does. The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferrable outside of extenuating circumstances at our discretion alone. The deposit will not be returned if you change your mind. If something happens to your bunny before pick up or we deem the bunny should not be sold, we will transfer your deposit to another bunny. You will likely receive pick of the litter from the next litter until you find a bunny that suits you. If you cannot find a suitable replacement within a year, we will refund your deposit. We want you to have the best bunny for you and want the best for all of our bunnies.

Policy 6

Holland Lops and Netherland Dwarfs range from $50-$300 depending on color, age, show potential, breeding potential, pedigree and other factors. It is best to contact us to obtain pricing.

Policy 7

No bunny will leave under 8 weeks old. Period. Don’t ask. It’s the law.

Policy 8

We cannot control genetics. We do not guarantee weight, size, personality, show-ability, fertility, temperament etc of our kits. We do not keep aggressive buns as part of our breeding stock. Hormonal mothers who are pregnant or protecting their kits are handled on a case-by-base basis.

Policy 9

We do NOT deliver. We do periodically travel and if you happen to be on the way or attending a show we are attending, then we can meet there. Boarding fees may apply.

Policy 10

For each day you do not pick up your bunny after they are ready, there will be a fee of $2. This is a boarding fee that covers the cost of food and additional care for the bunny until you can pick up. This is not to be included in your payment. This is in addition to your payment.

Policy 11

Your non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is forfeited if we do not hear from you within a reasonable period of time around your pick up date as established by due date. Without communication we will assume you’ve lost interest in your bunny and will remove the reservation. At 2 weeks post-pick up with no communication from you, your bunny is considered abandoned and will be available for reservation by someone else, with no refund given to you. I will make multiple attempts to contact you. However, it’s your responsibility to make sure I have the best contact information.

Policy 12

A $25 fee will be charged if you no-show to your scheduled bunny pick up. Please respect our time as we respect yours. Emergencies will be approved on a case by case basis.

Policy 13

Fluffle Farm is a closed rabbitry to help ensure we have proper biosecurity measures in place. We are by appointment only. Videos and/or video chats may be available upon request. Photos are available and once a deposit is placed, more photos and videos can be exchanged.

Policy 14

The only discounts considered are for active and retired military, 4H and purchases made by children—for which payment can be compensated in part by a variety of academic outlets to be discussed on a case-by-case basis and on level with the child’s cognizant and behavioral development. Any purchase by a child is the responsibility of the adult accompanying the child for pick up. IE if your 9 year old daughter wants to purchase a bunny, a discount will be given for an age appropriate drawing or painting of a bunny. If your 7 year old son wants to purchase a bunny, he can work with you to write a story about him and his future bunny friend. Poems, lyrics, drawings, crafts, etc will be accepted. These items are to be displayed in our rabbitry and shared on social media.

Policy 15

We recommend spaying or neutering your bunny under the care and guidance of your vet. The age of this procedure can vary based on your individual vet’s preferences. Usually at or around 6 months of age. Rabbits are prone to reproductive cancers. It takes 8 weeks for hormones to subside after surgery. Please discuss this with your vet in addition to any bonding advice needed for your individual pet situation.

Policy 16

In the unfortunate event that your bunny does not wean properly or is not suitable to go home, a suitable and comparable replacement will be found with priority given over future litters. If a suitable and comparable replacement is not able to be provided to you within a year of you being informed of the baby not going home, then we can discuss the matter further at that time. This is at our discretion.

Fluffle Farm reserves the right to make changes to our sales policy at any time without any notice to its applicants, waitlist submissions, prior customers, current customers or potential customers.
