Why Choose Fluffle Farm?
Sunny Florida
In 2018, we moved our family from the Philly side of Jersey to Bradenton, FL with the hopes of a more holistic and happy life where our kids can explore and enjoy the sun. Florida has not disappointed in that regard! After a few years we decided to get some land and the rest is history. We're on the Myakka side of East Bradenton near LWR.
Farm Life
In 2021, our family grew by 6.5 acres, 2 human feet and lots of furry and feathery feet and hooves. We've enjoyed our farm life even with it's challenges and SO MANY WEEDS.
Our kids are growing up dirty, happy and healthy with a true pride for their work and care for nature, animals, stewardship and husbandry.
Happy Fams
I have dozens and dozens of happy families with fluffy friends. I'd be happy to send over a referral if desired but you can take a peek at some reviews as well. I try my best to be fair to everyone involved -- and utmost care for the buns well-being.

We love when you say Hi!
Available
While I do have a family and fluffle of buns and farm animals to attend to, I do try to be available as possible for bun emergencies and questions. I HIGHLY suggest getting a bun vet ASAP as they can sometimes be hard to come by. But I make myself available as a sounding board whenever possible -- for the life of your bun.
Fluffle Name
Did you know a group of bunnies can be called a Fluffle? Yeah, me neither! On that note, I guess I should admit we aren't technically a "farm" as we don't grow vegetables or fruit (since I can't keep them alive). We're technically a "ranch" as we have animals. But since the only vegetable plants that stay alive here are the volunteer tomato vines downhill from the chicken coop, and Fluffle Ranch didn't flow as well (thanks english/journalism background)--Fluffle Farm stuck. We're pretty fond of it.
Feather Roots
Our background is in breeding parrots. When our local pet store contact requested for us to become a rabbit breeder locally, we eventually said yes. Since nothing we do is ever small -- we bought 12 first thing and Fluffle Farm was born! Through trial and error, we learned which style set up works best for us and our growing homeschool family and herd. We've been hopping along ever since. In the fall of 2023, it became apparent that we needed to expand our rabbitry. We decided to focus only on rabbits and let go of the flock of parrots with which we had started. Who knew so much would come from our little barn that we bought with no specific purpose just a few short years ago?
Bloodlines
Growing our rabbitry takes research, trial and error and lots of snuggles. Our fluffle has roots throughout Florida including many many bloodlines bred for show. We are intentional with our bunny babies and take pride in our does, bucks and litters. While each bunny pairing is bred for a purpose, not all buns will be perfect. But they are perfectly snuggly and loved just the same. Even the tilted ones who Houdini themselves out of newly designed baby cages and injure themselves leaving them permanently well, tilted (I'm looking at you Tilty).
Homeschool
Homeschooling for us is a focus and a privilege. We know not all families can do this and we are grateful for what we are able. We are not anti-school. But rather enjoy the freedom and flexibility that homeschool allows. ~~~ We joke that our two oldest were VPK (voluntary pre-k program in Florida free for all kids) dropouts. Judah making it to Thanksgiving and Eliana to Halloween. I don't think Isla will even go.
